Excellent Ballance (173)

Great Great Great
I have played a few seasons in Div 1 (173) cvs unstable release
and the changes have really ballanced it up.
The extra players on the TL enabled me to try a few stratergies none of which gave massiv or over ballanced outcomes. All pretty much did how I expected. Really had me going to and fro , not onesided, or easy,
you really can manage the team better now.
Ill get chips up to this version asap and see how he goes

that's good to hear. i'm going to make stadium events less harsh and add chilenian leagues (yes, a guy from chile wrote me some weeks ago
), and 1.8 can be released, right? (we'll ignore the remaining bugs 'cause they are really hard to find and occur rarely).

is that anti boost possible?
I got a couple of injuries and bans that totally wrecked any chance of for season. I was trying to just play steady and build and then bamm inj of 11weeks, 6weeks and bans or 5 and 3
the phisyo has spent all my spare money
I think next season im done for

well let me know whether you survived. maybe it'd be a better idea to reduce the injury/ban probs a bit, or the physio wage. that'd be a lot simpler than anti-boost.

yeah maybe just bad luck
I think maybe we have gone a tad the other way..too hard.
Its like the games been hit twice.
one the matchs are harder to win..which is good cause they were a little too easy (maybe now a little too hard)
and two inj bad luck
1st game, season 3, everyones 100%.
goalie cops a ban(1) thats ok i was 7.5 and 7.6 to their 7.2 and 7.0 and we drew.. i guess i can live with that allthough i was sure to win that one
2nd game in a 93% player cops a inj(6)
bad luck? yeah maybe,
this team certainly is not getting any good breaks
if i get out of this jam I must be a champion manager.
off to sell players to pay medical bills

did some more sums to see if was making mistakes.
div 1 teams around avg 6.7
better are those in the 7.2 and 3s
with players around 6.8 your looking at 8.5k ish
18 players at that price(if you could manage that trick) would be around 158k (316k /fortnight) with an avg attendance around 21k i think i was getting about 320k so im just breaking even. Certainly no chance of moving ahead.
And with an avg team i wont get up the table anyway.
make those numbers for a good side (7.2)and youll be broke in no time.
you need at least 17 players to cope with bans and inj.
the numbers seem to indicate Im not going anywhere unless a miracle comes along.

hm.. are you sure you're playing the right strategy? ie, concentrate on the stadium first, and only buy new players (or at least new good players) when your stadium is almost big enough for the next-highest league?

my first season was spent building the stadium and indeed I think now, having sold my last good player as was given to me at the start (I have never bought good players always under what I have) I feel maybe next season I might start to get somewhere.
In which case this is fine.
I think my problem has been adjusting from the old ver to the the new. I always seemed to do so well and was high on confidance.
Now I have to expect to take 3 -4 seasons to get thru a div.
which is probably a good thing.
whatever we change ..IF ...its changed needs to be only slight.
I would leave it as it is for now. I guess the Q is how long would the average user want to play for?
Is this a quick fire I win game or a real stick at it save and come back to it game.
I like the latter.
