You mean because we can use the priorities to mark the items that we want to do?

LINKS

Post by Jeffrey »

Not sure. I will post the feature request of bug and then put the link.

Please confirm that this is how we go.

Again I think we need to put out a note on the forum stating that in 2 -3 weeks or so stating that the features and bugs section on the forum will be made read only and that all future features and bugs started immediately should be posted on SF.

Todo

Post by Jeffrey »

All todo has been moved. Do we want to make these "pending" status. How to distinguish between todo, todo planned and feature request.

I guess feature request is just open but how to distinguish todo and todo planned?

I also thin kthat some of the open ones from todo may already be closed. I went by the status next to the description but I think this was a recent thing for your team.

We should now make todo read only.

Then post the note about the forum.

I will work on feature requests next.

Ranking

By the way with the increase tracker usage we are up to 200 rank.

That is great news. Should help us get more visibility.

I'd say we don't need such a distinction. That [planned] tag was rather superfluous within the todo list. Let's just go with open, deleted and planned to distinguish feature requests we're considering, reject or accept.

Todo

Post by Jeffrey »

So everything that was previously considered todo will be updatyed to status "pending". ONce a feature is entered it will be open until it either goes to "pending" and then "completed" or we delete it.

I will update all previous todo items to "pending"

I wouldn't go much further then october last year. You'll see that there is a hiatus in the posts between march and october.

FEATURES

Post by Jeffrey »

Finished moving all new features to SF. Please make the forum here read only and post an announcement to post all new features @ SF.

It may also be good to set up a link from the forum to SF tracker page. I have seen other SF prijects do this.

I will work on bugs next.

You mean with clicking on the forum leading to the sf.net tracker? I'm against it, I'd prefer the forum to be browsable like before.
