What do you think about having a team display like this :
Maybe more simple, no player like Makellel and Raul
.
And perhaps display name with color (same color in classic team display).
Ps: it's the only image of this type i have found

what would be the advantage of such a display? it's sure less practical when it comes to putting together the team. and in
Bygfoot there aren't a lot of player positions, just four. no left midfielder or so...

Just because it's eyes candy ?
There's no advantage, this screen only display, no player change or action ca n be do on it, but maybe it can "embellish" bygfoot ?
potentialy deceptive ?

I quite agree with gyboth, as long as there are no real differences between a left / right midfielder for instance, it would be pointless to display the team as such.
This could also end up very decepteive for those poor players who would have loaded all the players from their favorite league in the database, and who would end up seeing Lizarazzu playing as a right wingback, for instance
, because the computer simply picked it as one of the defensers:
(Now, I think that would be pretty cool to have at least a preferred side for each players; basically left/center/right, and have the game decisison system take it into account ... )

Gyboth and I have spoken about this, I even already have such a graphic. But while it may look "candy to the eyes" We have to keep in mind that its hard to implement in code and doesnt help the flow of the game.
The "Mission Statement" for this game is to keep it fast to setup and easy to play.
while I intend to make more graphics available to help the "look" of the interface
they will mostly be icons or background images but even this can cause problems with text readability so we have to be constantly aware of not "overdooing it"
Please keep the ideas coming tho
