interesting that i should post here, asking for help ;-)

on my new gentoo system choosing languages doesn't work anymore. i got the latest cvs, just to be sure, and when i run ./src/bygfoot, i get an english interface. even when i change the language explicitly in the preferences, it doesn't help at all, i still have english as language.

now i'm not sure whether this is a source code problem or a problem related to my new system. so: does anyone experience this problem with the cvs version? if not, does anyone have an idea what i have to change in my system to make it work?

thanks for all the answers and all the help :-P everybody on vacation, yes?

anyway, my system was simply set to english. the howto http://de.gentoo-wiki.com/Deutsche_Lokalisierung helped.
