can we set up a view where it lists my fixtures only?
ie the seasons league fixtures in which games my team is playing?
so I can see in one page my next 10? matches

What type are you?
there is a preview (user->show coming matches) for a couple of matches (not only league but also cup matches). currently only 4 are shown but you can change the number using the int_treeview_coming_matches variable in the constants file.

but generally the cvs version contains features and fixes (and bugs ) the releases don't; the longer the release lies back in time, the more.
so if you'd like to experience new features prior to the releases, it'd be a good idea to check out the cvs version. you can do it easily with the update script, btw.
