Midfield players score.

At the end of the season, my midfield players have scored more often than my attackers. Do you experience the same problem ?

Yes, I got the same problem, but maybe it was because my midfield player had better qualities

i fear it's because the algorithm isn't well balanced. i'll have to do a bit of tweaking when i have the time.

its the same with computer teams

i looked at the top scorers in the league stats and then clicked on browse teams. all of the top four were midfielders

i tweaked a bit and played 25 weeks. after setting the scout to BEST so that the goals are displayed in the 'browse players' view and sorting the view, it appeared that the most goals statistic is dominated by forwards. in all leagues but one the top goalgetter was a forward and among the first 10 there were mostly forwards, too.
