increase stadium capacity idea

Hey, I've noticed you guys regularly debate the stadium capacity price stuff. One idea that occurred to me that I haven't seen mentioned is basing the expense on the current size of the stadium. Let's say that going from 10-12,000 would cost way less than going from 70-72,000.

That way, low division clubs would pay less, and already rich clubs in 1st division would pay more than poor clubs in the same division. It is easily justifiable: construction is more complicated for bigger buildings.

an interesting suggestion, maybe i'd have done it this way had the idea occurred to me. if the current method doesn't work out, we could switch to this one.

yerp its a goodn.
the price should not be the same. A small club may add 1000 seats to 20K stadium but its not going to cost the same as adding 1000 seats to man utds 50k stadium cause as kingduct points out the building cost for big is not the same as small and the quality man utd would spend on seats, and utiliities, like bars, toilets etc would be far more than a scunthorp utd expected quality.

my apologies to any scunthorp utd supporters out there? and for using man utd and the word toilet in the same sentance. ;)

move over loity toitty top of the league money teams!! Spurs is coming thru.
