1.9 live game, live info, boost etc

Post by vector »

Just had a thought ooh dear :(

at the top of the live game window, where the team names are it seems we have spare space?

what if the "basic" important game info was there.?

Like the style and boost meters for each team.
and possesion%

BTW would it be better if the team names were centered in that box?
with a set box for the possesion icon(the ball)
it gets a distracting flicker when the possesion changes and the ball icon moves the names
"There are two ways to score. Dribble it over the line or smash it into the back of the net."
What type are you?

i don't think we need meters there. users should know what their settings are, and changes should only be made in the main window. i thought about putting the scorer names there, but that would require too much space if you have a high-scoring game. and i can't shrink the space, it's the smallest a treeview can get, apparently.

thing is, i don't know how to do it  how to do it without having quite large gaps between the columns. wouldn't want the result to be 1 cm away from the team names.

yes, i noticed this. i could put the ball icon as an image widget outside the treeview, maybe that would be better. on the other hand the two treeviews (result and commentary) wouldn't have the same width, that might look ugly. i'm going to try it out (later, maybe you could remind me ;-) we're not in the polishing stage yet).
