It'd be nice to have some awards at the end of the season, possibly in connection with prize money. Categories that come to mind are "Best offense", "Best defense", "Best goalgetter", "Best player", "Fairest team" etc.
Some of these would also lead to keeping some more history throughout the season, notably all those categories that don't entirely rely on goals (e.g. total of cards isn't stored on a per team basis).
