Hi,
Happy New Year to all!
I'd like to suggest having keyboard shortcuts to change tactics. I'm not a mouse-driven man and it drives me crazy to have to use the mouse to change tactics. Shortcuts (1, 2 3, 4 5 for example) would be great!
Also, I notice in 1.6.3 that F4 and F5 only work if I press F1 first. Can this be changed?
THanks for a great game!

likewise!lduperval2 wrote:Happy New Year to all!
all right, i'm going to make some. but not 1, 2 etc. because those keys are needed if you want to enter a custom team structure. maybe rather u and i or so (two would suffice, perhaps, one for 'next tactic' and one for 'previous tactic').I'd like to suggest having keyboard shortcuts to change tactics. ouch, i didn't notice. i'm going to do it. but i won't be able to work on 1.7 for about a week. Also, I notice in 1.6.3 that F4 and F5 only work if I press F1 first. Can this be changed?
btw, weren't you the one who wanted to explain why gtk option menus were buggy?

Yes, that would be nice.gyboth wrote: all right, i'm going to make some. but not 1, 2 etc. because those keys are needed if you want to enter a custom team structure. maybe rather u and i or so (two would suffice, perhaps, one for 'next tactic' and one for 'previous tactic').
You're correct. What happens is that when the window size is about as large as the screen, clicking on the menu to change tactics makes the dropdown appear partly off-screen. I think it's a GTK problem because I think I saw the same behaviour in Abiword.btw, weren't you the one who wanted to explain why gtk option menus were buggy?

hm.. i'm not sure i'd call it a bug. after all you can scroll down after clicking. anyway, in 1.9 there'll be a bit fewer option menus, probablylduperval wrote:What happens is that when the window size is about as large as the screen, clicking on the menu to change tactics makes the dropdown appear partly off-screen.
