I playe a season in NC. I started with a pretty good team got some good breaks and some good Youths and hovered around rank8. Built the stadium and was looking fwd to a white wash next season and being head of the table and promotion.
sure enough season 2 begins and i checked my avg skil against others in the league.. I was like a good 5-8 above 99% of the teams.
My players were looking good and for the first time in ages I had the luxury of 19. Not only was this all looking ripe for the picking but I dindt even get the usual inj nightmare.
BUT I just couldnt consistantly win?
ended up 3rd (a good 20points off the first place)and lost the playoffs final but by then i was simply annoyed.
Id played a whole previous season and had a pretty good feel for the numbers and dont remember changing my tactics and yet the most obvious matches to win I seem to loose.
some were due to red cards. there seems to be a bias to getting a red card in the first few minutes thus making you 1 man down for the entire match.
But others left me speechless. (vector speechless? impossible
I ve had loosing streaks b4 but this one just boiled against the logic.
of course I could just be a spoilt manager over reacting
