I can't believe there is no topic on this!?

What's your guys' favorite team?

I am a life-long supporter of Partizan, Belgrade (http://www.partizan.co.yu). We just won national league, but we lost the cup :(

We also played UEFA Cup last season, and got eliminated by CSKA Moscow :(( Though, this year we will play in Champions League.

Our first opponent is a winner of Sliema (Malta) - Sheriff (Moldavia). I think we should have no problem beating either one of them :) Does anyone know anything of these two teams?

Oh yes, my "second" most favorite team is Chelsea, but it was long before it was bought by Abramovich!

While I am at it, let me list my favorite teams in other leagues :)
- Italy: Atalanta, but I also like Juventus
- Germany: Leverkusen (no good reason)
- USA: Kansas City (I live here:)
- Spain: simply against Real Madrid :)
- Hungary: Ferencvaros (I once saw them play in Budapest and was impressed enough to start rooting for them:)

I am a supporter of liverpool fc the european champions. ive supported them since i started to watch football properly. this is because my friend who really got me interested in football supported them. also my favourite players at the time (michael owen and el hadji diouf) played for them

my second favourite team is dundee fc because my dads family come from there. they have just been relegated to the scottish first division

favorite teams in other leagues:
- France: Auxerre (seen them play against british teams a couple of times and was really impressed by their attacking style of play)
- Germany: Werder Bremen (the only team i have ever one a football playstation game with )
- Portugal: Benfica (i have no idea why i like them)
- Spain: Barcelona (again i like their style of football)
- Italy: Bologna (when i was little i watched this football italia programme on tv a couple of times and bologna were playing both times and i liked them for some reason. i also like fiorentina because of this programme)

national team: scotland of course! the good thing about supporting scotland is that they never get into any major tournaments so you can support other countries that take your fancy. heres who i have supported at major tournaments since i started watching football:

If Club plays against Westerlo we are neutral or if Club needs points to be champion we support Brugge. Aarschot are in 4th league, Nieuwrode are in 3rd provincial league Vlaams-Brabant, Blauberg are in 4the provincial league Antwerp, Geluwe are in 2nd provincial league West-Flanders. These teams don't play against each other.

Hmm.. a national team

Well, I should probably like Serbia & Montenegro the most, but honestly, I just don't care about them.

A lot of political reasons, but also... A team lost to Azerbeijan, and when they got back home, the coach said: "it was because the grass on the field was bad"

Now, how can one like such a team?
