1.9: prize money

leagues and cups should have prize money. for leagues it's money paid to some teams at the end of the season, for cups it's a cup round property (money paid in each match in a cup round).

i just don't know how to make it so that the user knows which league/cup the money comes from and still keep the code nice and clean

what about a popup saying for example:

You earned £500,000 for progressing to the quarter finals of the FA Cup

or it could be shown in the user history

this could get annoying. in cups you'd be paid a certain amount of money per match, so this popup could come very often.

now this is a great idea. instead of having 'you reach the ROUND of the CUP' we could have 'you reach the ROUND of the CUP (MONEY prize money per match)'. e.g. 'you reach the final of the champions' league (150 000 prize money per match)'.

I like the liverpudlin's idea and gyboths implementation.

or it could be shown in the user history

keeps the code neat and is easy to implement.

My other thought was to reinvoke the "newspaper" idea where things like this and other trivia gets reported. But that requires alot more work.
